Our Works
Health – Ragpicker Worker
Under this project, Sarthak Welfare Society focuses on improving the health and hygiene conditions of ragpicker workers who often live in hazardous environments. Regular health camps, medical check-ups, vaccination drives, and awareness sessions are conducted to ensure their physical well-being and reduce occupational health risks. The initiative aims to provide preventive healthcare support to this often neglected segment of society.
Utthan Project – Jhulaghar Satna Jail
This project is a unique initiative by Sarthak Welfare Society to provide basic and value-based education to children residing in the Jhulaghar inside Satna Jail. The aim is to ensure that these children, despite their circumstances, get access to learning, emotional care, and a positive environment to grow, thus helping break the cycle of social disadvantage.
Women Empowerment
Our Women Empowerment project is dedicated to building the capacity of underprivileged women through vocational training, self-help groups (SHGs), legal awareness, and livelihood development programs. We work to create an ecosystem where women gain financial independence, leadership skills, and confidence to lead dignified lives and actively contribute to their families and communities.
Road Safety
The Road Safety project is focused on creating awareness among youth, school children, and drivers about traffic rules, pedestrian safety, and responsible road behavior. Through workshops, street plays, distribution of IEC materials, and collaborations with traffic departments, we promote safe commuting practices and aim to reduce road accidents in both urban and rural areas.
Environment
This project is aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices and enhancing environmental consciousness. Activities include plantation drives, waste segregation campaigns, school awareness programs, and promotion of sustainable habits among communities. We work towards building a greener future by involving citizens directly in conservation efforts.
Plastic Waste Management (Work with Ragpickers)
Under the Utthan Project, Sarthak Welfare Society works with ragpickers to formalize and improve their involvement in plastic waste management. This includes providing them with training, safety equipment, health benefits, and identity cards, while also connecting them with recycling units. The goal is to uplift the ragpicker community both economically and socially, while promoting systematic and environment-friendly waste management.
